SUMMARY:Caradon Monthly Walkers Group
DESCRIPTION:Caradon Monthly Walkers is a walking group for anyone who likes getting out and about in the Cornish landscape (although we sometimes stray into Devon). Walks are free\, led by volunteer walk leaders\, between 4 and 6 miles and in a different location every month. \nWalkers do not have to join the group – you can just turn up on the day but check the walk description first and make sure it meets your ability. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Walks take place on the first Wednesday of the month\, 10 am for a 10.30 am start\, see our  Facebook page for updates.  \n  \nWell behaved dogs are usually welcome on our walks. Occasionally a walk will not be suitable for dogs. Our monthly walk details always include information about dogs and any restrictions that apply to that walk\, eg when dogs need to be on short leads or dogs are not permitted.

DESCRIPTION:Liskeard Hiking Club have walks every other Saturday from March until October.  \nThis is a hiking club\, not a “walking club\,” so please bear that in mind\, as some of the routes are quite adventurous and will take you off the beaten path. Make sure to understand this before setting off and ensure you have a reasonable level of fitness.\nWe don’t hike at breakneck speed\, but the routes will include livestock\, steep hills\, tricky stiles\, rough terrain\, stream crossings\, boggy ground\, fallen trees\, rock hopping\, slippery banks and other similar challenges. \nFeel free to join us on any of the scheduled hikes. You can come along once or as many times as you like—there’s no pressure. We want you to have fun\, create great memories\, and meet new people. \nFull details of each walk\, including the route and the meeting place/time will be on the Liskeard Hiking Club Facebook page a week or two before the day.
